<image:title>Autumn Nook - My TBR Summer Reads - 2. Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne</image:title>
<image:caption>From the same author who wrote The Hating Game. This is a book I have already read, but lately, I wanted to re-read it. This would be interesting, as it has been a few years since I first read it. The romance book follows a 24-something woman working in a luxury retirement village and discovering that there may be more to the world than within the fence of her town.</image:caption>

<image:title>Autumn Nook - My TBR Summer Reads - 5. The Silence in between by Josie Ferguson</image:title>
<image:caption>This book came up when I was researching based on historical true stories to read; I was fascinated by this book. It was set against the background of the erection of the Berlin Wall in 1961, a woman who gave up birth to her baby but ended up trapped on the east side of Berlin while her son remained on the west side of Berlin.</image:caption>

<image:title>Autumn Nook - My TBR Summer Reads - 1. Not in Love by Ali Hazelwood</image:title>
<image:caption>I have followed Ali Hazelwood for a few years, and her books have not disappointed me. This book follows the same STEM female-oriented romance set in the background biotech engineering field of food science. Thrown in a little hostile takeover, mixed with forbidden romance and scientific exploration, you have an Ali Hazelwood book.</image:caption>

<image:title>Autumn Nook - My TBR Summer Reads - 3. All The Light We Cannot See by Antony Doerr</image:title>
<image:caption>I watched the Netflix TV Series and was very interested from the start! I wanted to read the book! It looks like a mammoth compared to some of the books of my usual size, but I wanted to challenge myself. Set against the backdrop of the Second World War, it features characters who strive to be hopeful in a world that seems to be burning. One of the main characters is blind. It was an exciting perspective to learn more about how they would navigate the world, especially in times of war.</image:caption>

<image:title>Autumn Nook - My TBR Summer Reads - 4. Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline</image:title>
<image:caption>Again, I watched the movie Ready Player One and heard about the book's sequel, which piqued my interest. So, I'm excited to see where this goes from here. The book follows the aftermath of the first book. However, the victory of the first book loses its allure as a new riddle and new rivalries emerge. The book looks to the future and applies the complexities of today's world.</image:caption>

<image:title>Autumn Nook - Love and Resilience: Exploring 'Brother, Do You Love Me' by Reuben and Manni Coe - Favourite Quote:</image:title>
<image:caption>Fear inhabits all of us at some point in our lives. It may be a temporary feeling that washes over us, but it can also enter the very fibre of your being. Nobody ever invites it, fear barges in. …. Fear was part of Reuben. It had forced its way in and was burrowing inside, changing his embrace, making his eyes glaze over, altering his posture. In the same room, sat on his bed looking at the remnants of his life with us at The Corner, I didn’t know how to find my way back to him.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Autumn Nook - Let’s cozy up and READ! - BOOK RECOMMENDATION</image:title>
<image:caption>Autumn by Ali Smith. A book that follows the seasons of the year, exploring different characters in various stages of life from the both the young and old. Focusing on the concept of change and transformation as season goes on, so do the characters. It is wonderful to see how the relationship between Elisabeth and Daniel changes over the years.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Autumn Nook - Let’s cozy up and READ! - ROMANCE</image:title>
<image:caption>The Pumpkin Spice Cafe by Lauren Gilmore; although I don’t drink Pumpkin Spice but this book definitely had autumnal themes running through the book. It was a delightful and easy read especially with these dark nights. It does follow that trope of escaping to a small town to discover yourself but in this particular case the escape was sorely needed!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Autumn Nook - Let’s cozy up and READ! - LITERARY FICTION</image:title>
<image:caption>During the autumn season, bookshops is the highlight or at least the staple action to do! With that in mind , for this category, I have found Once upon a Tome by Oliver Darkshire, there is nothing I like more that browsing among the bookstore to find the next book to read. This book follows story of a life in the world’s oldest bookshops. I imagine there would be lots of literary links to other books, authors and the like.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Autumn Nook - Let’s cozy up and READ! - NON-FICTION</image:title>
<image:caption>I chose SCOTLAND’s Forgotten Past by Alistair Moffat, I suppose when I think of the most beautiful scenes of autumn nature and landscape, my brain conjures up the Highlands, Scotland. I thought it would be a great opportunity to learn most about the country and its history. I am a history girl so any opportunity to learn more history I am all for it. The book will explore the untold parts of Scottish history, and delve into the real heroes of Scottish independence and the romance of the highlands. It sounds like an interesting read!</image:caption>

<image:title>Autumn Nook - In Pursuit of Justice: A Review of 'The Ratline' by Philippe Sands - Favourite Quote: The panel was once accompanied by lines from the Bible, a verse from Isaiah but it had been painted over long before Otto arrived. <image:title>Autumn Nook - Finding Romance Between the Stereotypes: A Review of 'Book Lovers - Favourite Quote: …Life in New York was like being in a giant bookstore: all these trillions of paths and possibilities drawing dreamers into the city’s beating heart, saying I make no promises but I offer many doors. You may chassé across a spotlit stage with the best of them, but you may also weep over an unbought lime.</image:title>
